Just a note to say that the system worked, and we're safely home!
VERY early to Heathrow, but no lines to check in or at security. United left right on time, and while it was a L-O-N-G flight (11 hours 15 minutes), we got to LAX with no problems. Jumped ship and headed over to Southwest for an earlier flight to Tucson, and thanks to Bob LaCasce for picking us up!
