And They're Off Again!

Hello, Family and Friends and everyone in between!

The Traveling Brucato's are heading out next Thursday, April 26, for an extended trip to Turkey, Northern Spain and Paris. Our plan is to do a month-long circle tour of Turkey, beginning and ending in Izmir. There are a great many ancient sites to explore, and we hope to include a 30th anniversary balloon trip over Cappadocia, and a visit to the newly discovered Gobekli Tepe, which is believed to include the oldest man-made carvings on earth.

From there, we head back to England for a weekend with friends in Northampton, then a return to the continent in Northern Spain. Our hope is to explore more ancient neolithic decorated caves before heading to Madrid to catch the overnight luxury train to Paris. We will have a cabin with bathroom and shower, so we should be arriving into Paris in a very clean state! We are renting a flat in the 7th arr. across the street from Les Invalides, home of Napoleon's tomb. We are greatly looking forward to a good rest in Paris, where we will be exploring yet more new museums and sights, as well as old friends like the Louvre and l'Orangerie! We head back to Heathrow and home on June 12. Robert says he gets tired just thinking about it!

We will (hopefully) be blogging on a daily basis, as internet connection allows, and invite you all to join us while we tour these adventurous (for us!) places!

Lots of love,
